You did it wrong then.

Remember, you can always go back to factory settings if the jailbreak doesn't work 100%.

I jail broke mine a couple of months ago using absinthe. its not bad but it kills my battery life.

I used red sn0w and it works flawlessly. Battery life is good. Doesn't freeze isnt slow.

I recommend it.

I just got the 5s and was wondering how you enjoy the operating setup over the factory setup.

I do but you can't do it if you're already on 7.1

I have ignored the notice about 7.1 for this very reason, I also backed my phone up on my computer. Just looking for some first hand experience using a 5s on the new jailbreak.

I mainly jailbreak for f.lux and grooveshark

Grooveshark has an html 5 version so no real need to jailbreak for it. Was never really impressed with most iphone jailbreaks. If you want to tweak your phone stay with android.
