Other than being dinged, lightly dented and slightly bumped, I've never been in a genuine accident. During the summer of 2010, my wife was in a 5-car mash-up that totalled all 5 vehicles. Some 77-year-old guy was going 60+ MPH in a 35 zone and "could not maintain control" of his vehicle. (duh!) Our lovely '01 Taurus wagon bit the dust after a mere 175K miles. I promptly bought her its (106K mi.) clone and she LOVES it. Easily found it on CL and it was cheap!
