So the game I've been working on is finally out!!!!
I did alot of the artwork, concepts, animation, etc.
Taken a whole year to get this thing done!

What game engine do you use as I am just starting to learn unity3d and can't wait to get to the point to develop my own game.

What game engine do you use as I am just starting to learn unity3d and can't wait to get to the point to develop my own game.

We use unity for it. Definitely learn it!!! If you're a coder you will have a job somewhere!!!
We use 3Dmax to model everything out. Games this big should take like 6-8 months. Couple hiccups here and there, so we took abouta year for the sequel.

My modeling skills are ok so need to get down and dirty with the coding. Not really looking to make money out of just something that is fun and free to do.

If you don't like paying for 3DS Max you should look into blender it is moving ahead with leaps and bounds at the moment. It has a new render engine Cycles with gpu rendering that shit is insane, it lets you have real time rendering of your model, but more important for games is a new mesh editor called BMesh should be incorperated in the next few months can't wait for that.

Just remember if you are seriously looking into blender then you will want to check this site out.

Heaps of free tutorials on blender to help you get started, they have also just started tutorials on unity which is a bonus. I would recommend signing up though it is nice having high res videos, easier to see what is going on.

Anyways hope you like blender it is very impressive and is only getting better.
