Just text him a picture of your penis that usually solves everything when I'm about to get fired

contemplating emailing him again, he wanted to meet in person tomorrow so i'm not sure what i will be doing.
Leave it alone! You might have just been paranoid about it and nothing was up. Badgering him might bring on a firing that wasn't coming. If you can't resist responding, just say something short and nice, like "OK, thanks, Alan." (or whatever his name is) Absolutely do not send anything challenging. Remember, even if you do get let go, you want to maximize the chances of a favorable reference for potential employers.

Thing is, the boss is always forming impressions. Until you're actually sacked, you want to keep upbeat, warm vibes. If a head has to roll, perhaps just due to cutbacks, the people the boss is most comfortable with are generally the ones who stay, not necessarily the best performers.

Ask the boss if he would be so kind as to formerly lay you off as opposed to being fired, assuming you will be getting fired anyways. This way you can still collect unemployment. If he's a nice guy, he should have no problem doing you this little favor. Now go child, learn the loopholes of our government system.

I'm unimpressed by this thread. In three months time, after your gone from the company, you should dress like a bum, fill up a spray bottle with piss and offer to wash his windshield.

Not sure how it is in CA, but in NC if you are fired for poor job performance, you might not be eligible for unemployment benefits, and if you quit, you're definitely not eligible except under unusual circumstances.

So, do your homework before you quit, just sayin'

He's in Nova Scotia, typical behaviour for them. We all know and there's a narrow stretch of land they have to cross before they make it to the rest of Canada. There's a reason we forced all the Newfie's onto an island.
