Asian kid gets jumped by 7 others

Turns out that the Palomino kid aka maskless white kid's dad (a cop) turned him in and couldn't post the 100k bond. Basically he's throwing the 6 other morons under the bus, saying his kid is "hanging with the wrong crowd"

The fact that any racial slur was said makes it a hate crime. In fact using the N-word nowadays could really mean anybody or any race. The fact that the police state racial slurs were stated, but not treated as a race crime is a damn shame. If you believe a racial hate crime has to be two different races, you're sadly mistaken.

Shit like this enrages me beyond belief. There was a kid FOB from Vietnam and no one wanted to work with the kid, he barely spoke english, and it was the "fun and cool" thing to pick on the poor kid. My school was unfortunately a ghetto school (rezoning lines were changed) and I was surrounded by drugs, gangs, shoot outs and bomb threats. Needless to say I was ALWAYS lab partners with him in biology, and he was a sweet sweet kid and very smart. Do people not consider what would happen if they were sent to live in another country and this happened to them? Going to a new school around kids you've never met is scary, I can't even imagine a whole different country and way of living.

I never changed schools and I was picked on. Still made it through fine unlike some of the english as a second language students. I was known as the all around nice guy and folks were jelly.

Kids are stupid enough now-a-days to record everything they do and smile while doing it. They deserve to go to jail and get a 7-on-1 up in the big house.

You don't have to be in a gang to jump someone. I got jumped by 4 upper class white kids when I was in highschool for no real reason other than them being bigger than me and being able to get away with it.

If I had found one of them alone with 5-6 of my other friends I would have wanted to do the same thing. That doesn't make it right, or even mean that this retaliation story is true but if it is I can relate.

I grew up in the "ghetto" or "hood" for quite some time due to my family financial status and was fortunate enough to move out of the bad area when I was in HS. It took my parents years of saving and hard work along with family help to move out of the area. Some aren't that lucky to do so.
