Kiwi going to NY/LA

Hey guys & girls,

I haven't posted on here that much but im from Auckland, New Zealand, anyway in a couple of weeks im heading off to NY for a 10 days then LA for a few days..

Its my first time going to the US so don't really know what to expect.

Can any locals give me the inside scoop on where to go ? things to see ?

Will be doing the whole Disneyland/Universal thing in LA so that's pretty much all the time ive got.

What to do in NY ? - is it snowing there yet ?

NYC's water is actually great. It comes down the aqueducts from the reservoirs upstate.

It's about an hour and a half away, from anything fun you want to do.

The beach, theme parks, the snow, hollywood, car museums and.............oh yeah, driving instupid traffic!
