Actually, I was thinking about buying a $300 POS ETA and having them pimp it, then taking all those plasmas, ipods, speakers, fish tanks, and selling them for a hefty profit, parting out the car and putting that money into my E30.

The only good episode was where they unveiled the car and the guy whos car got pimped was sagging his pants so low they fell down when he started cheering. Then he tripped and fell on his face.

Pretty sure that shop has a different show now, lots of the same guys and they do pretty good work, shows the Pimp my Ride show was all just about the glam. I can't remember the actual name of the show though...Comment

If if a show was made where viewers submit their own designs and then there is voting elimination and the viewers choose which one gets built and the person who designed it gets to keep the car for winning the show. And registered it same way you would a kit car so it can be road driven.
First half of the season is interviews with the designers/voting and the second half is watching the car get built.
Kind of like american idol but for cars.Comment
