I hate wasting money on bad parts

Bought a used Toughbook HD caddy off ebay for 84 dollars. Says it was genuine Panasonic. Definitely not and missing impossible to find screws (even tho they said they were included.) It was so poorly made I tried to get my jae 50 to 44 pin ide to sata connectors to fit and it wasn't even close. What a fucking waste of money. I flushed 84 bucks down the toilet in 3 hours and waited 8 days for it to get here.

Thankfully this never has happened to me with a car part. you?

shit happens... bought an iPod on ebay once; when I got it, I found that it had been relieved of its battery and hard drive. Got my money back on that one. Also bought some shocks for one of my bikes described as being in as-new condition. They get here, and the shafts are pitted to hell. Currently trying to repair that purchase.

Isn't that what paypal dispute cases are for? I believe paypal usually rules in favor of the buyer for things like this. Get your money back and toss the piece of junk.

If you don't like wasting money on cheap stuff, why are you purchasing from ebay?

I hate wasting parts on bad money. This happens pretty much anytime I buy something with the US dollar.

They're pretty good about that. Also something to look for is the sellers feedback rating people are brutally honest about that shit.

But how do I prove its not authentic, I can only base it on past experience. Plus it doesn't matter now, I destroyed it. Plus its not electronics per say. Its a hd caddy.
