I'm a climber. Look where I live, lol. I spend one or two weekends a month going to the Red or the New since it's the best quality climbing that's the closest though. Also, the last few summers, Ive spent a month traveling and climbing. Index, Leavenworth, Tensleep, Tetons, Eldo, Boulder Canyon and the Black Hills.
This summer is Yosemite and Bishop!! Psyched! Might try to go up to BC as well.
EDIT: Yeah, grading in different areas definitely differs. Over here in the east, Coopers is a popular Bouldering spot, and they sandbag everything over there. Over at the red, it's an outdoor gym so if you can fight the pump, you can crush!

Just now saw this. Didn't end up going to Squamish, the trip I made was getting expensive as it was and school was going to start back up without me present. So home I went. Spent some sick time in Arches, Zion, which where hot as hell, Tensleep (one of the US's top sport climbing crags IMO) and Denver area hanging with some teacher buddies.
I prefer to use ropes but when I boulder, the crash pad always get strapped to the roof rack on the e30. I'll have to take a photo next time for you guys.
I climbed owl rock at Arches, it was rad. I'm the little guy at the bottom here.Last edited by shaferbm; 08-23-2013, 06:44 PM.
