I've got an Elgin pocket watch that is very similar to that. Built about 1900 or so (I researched it, can't remember the date.) its got a broken main spring however.

I've finally realized a cause and effect - when I pick up night shifts I buy watches on ebay. Snagged 2 more movados - one of them will be parts for another one that I have - probably the movado "sport"

I'll use those 2 plus the one I have to make 2, hopefully 3 working watches.

Its a Vostok Komandirskie Chronograph. I really like it so far. My first watch with a working bezel haha.

Thank you! The PO liquidmetmal is very nice, good luck with the hunt. I kinda wanted to pickup the meteorite dialed apollo-soyuz but was distracted with something else. I may come back to it sometime. Right now I'm looking at the newer POC 9300. Hopefully it'll be sooner than later.

Thanks! Best of both worlds with those 2 combo you're hunting for. Much luck to you.

And I guess the bezel is pretty close to a sub, but then again all these manufacturers have been taking design cues from each other for ages now. I'm sure there's an older watch than the sub that would have the same if not close to bezel design. A Blancpain perhaps?

I never noticed it before, but the ring on that seamaster is surprisingly close to the ring on my sub.....

Picked up one of these last time i was in Germany so i didnt have to wear my Rolex so much. Very nice classic look and the leather band has a very interesting metal clasp. They arent that expensive either.

Those are gorgeous. I really want a GMT seamaster but not for a few more years. This is my only watch besides an old broke seiko, wear it daily.
