Meh, I hate working on cars as well.

But if you want enough money to modify them and have fun them, doing your own work is a necessity.

I'm in the same boat... but I like to understand the job being done because being car illiterate is not only frustrating but costly.

you can go to the parts store and buy a sheet of gasket material and cut a new throttle body heater gasket out of that with an excato knife, to get you by till you can get a OEM 1

or do what jake says and hose barb the inlet and out let hoses together and not worry about it at all. Or you can cut the hoses off short and shove a bolt or plastic golf T in them and hose clamp them in and forget about it as well.

Why not just bypass the throttle body coolant block? There's no gain to doing it, but there's no loss either.
