Member here. Active. It's great. Meet a lot of cool people. Dealer discounts (not applicable to me since I work parts anyways) and Roundel Mag, if you think r3v doesn't bitch enough about new BMWs.

All in all, I enjoy it and the functions, drives, dinners, meets, etc.

I've been a member for at least 15 years now.

For about $50 per year, you get 12 issues per month of The Roundel, which is probably the best car club magazine ever. You get access to driving schools at pretty much any track across the US and Canada at a reduced rate. Those two things alone make it worth the money.

Then there are meets, social events, weekend fun rallys, etc. Also, a 15% dealer discount for parts. Definitely worth it IMNSHO.

Agreed with above, Roundel is worth the price alone. Parts discount doesnt even come close to what online places charge. If I was a track nut, the club would be very beneficial. Ive been a member for 5 years now and usually goto the monthly meetings. Since im right down the road to VIR, most people track there rides.

I am a member because I get discount on track time once a year which pays for itself.

I am a member as well. No reason not to be a member IMO. Monthly socials, autocrosses, track days, Roundel, discounts, etc. I'm sure I've saved more money on parts because I am a BMW CCA member than I spend on a yearly membership.

I was a member, stopped renewing last year though. Found a local club with MUCH cheaper track days. Roundel is ok, but Performance BMW is much better. I already get a bigger discount at the dealer than member discount so that wasn't a factor for me. The local club is full if nice people, but they really don't do anything you need to be a member to attend other than the track days.
