      seriously? how much is the report like $15? If he's serious about buying a car for thousands of dollars can't he "splurg" for less than a tank of gas?

          Its different when you're a seller vs a buyer. If you're looking at hundreds of cars, even if you're only seriously interested in like 5, that's still $75 that you don't need to spend.
