Weird...I just signed up for Calc 2 when I got to CU. They didn't mention any tests to take...

I'd tested out of it from the AP test but figured I should actually learn the math rather than how to pass an AP exam.

Now I need to take Partial Differential Eqs next year for my MS. Ffffuuuuuuuck.

I am also at a university right now and I am surrounded by kids who dont care and cant stay awake, and bitch about having the opportunity to learn something new, like an education is supposed to be handed to them.

This is also why I joined the military first, then went to school. Because I now know 2 would be 20 year old kids that would have loved to have been sitting in school, listening to the most annoying teacher on the planet, and not inside a HMMWV that hit an IED.

It seems nobody is grateful for anything anymore.

I never had to study for longer than 5 minutes before all my exams in Calc 1/2/3 +DQ's. Sometimes it just comes naturally. Although, I am happy I am done with all the calc classes after my second semester in college.

Now I am taking all the core ME classes, and I am having so much more fun. I actually pay attention.

In the class I finished last Friday I got to taste wines every M/W/F. We'd do about 10-20 tastings (~1oz per sample) a day starting around 10am, class was over at 2:30.

          I really enjoyed that class.

I hope you guys enjoy whatever these classes are getting you ready for...

I never hated/struggled with math until this quarter in Differential equations! So, fucking awful. And it doesnt help our instructor is FOB from Nigeria...

Really discouraging overall, but Im just trying to look forward to the core classes. Im doing ME as well.

that sucks. My last 2 teachers of calc/dq were of Indian descent. Needless to say, I can fully understand their dialect lol

This thread reminds me of my Calculus teacher in High School, damn she was hot and had a great sense of humor, I had to stay late a couple of times and just stared at her ass. Dammit!
