    Making extra dough

    I know that everyone can always use extra money, and I'm no different. I have a job as a waiter and the woman who owns the restaurant also owns a bunch of properties. She has put me in charge of all of the craigslist rental ads/trying to find tenants for the vacant ones and pre-screening potential tenants for her. I make okay money, but I'd still like to bring home some more cash.

    I know a lot of you guys are students, as am I. What are some ways you make some extra cash? I'm not desperate, however it is always nice to make a little more.

            Lawn work can make some insane cash. I used to mow lawns and trim the hedges and that would bring me 150ish per lawn for 1-1.5 hours of work. I also would offer checker board mowing for an extra 50. So in a day I would do 2-3 lawns and have about 6 people I did it for. Twice a month I made some very nice cash.

            Every two weeks was my return for making it stay groomed and proper. BUT it all depends on where you live and how many old people/rich people wanna pay for it. And not many people like to mow or CAN trim hedges to look perfect. No one wants a mismatched hedge ;)

            If you get into it use a good pair of OLD clippers by hand(less mistakes). Sharpen once a week and you're set =)


            I also detailed cars A TON, check local detailing prices and beat them by a bit. It is also a HUGE deal if you do home cleanings. They can stay at home(big plus for the old folks), this in due time will spread to more or their friends and in no time you will honestly have too many calling up to clean their cars. I used to have some amazing older friends that would pay me to come detail their cars and mow the lawn. Invite me to lunch and just chat. They might be old but everyone gets sad being alone so treat them like your grandma and they love having someone to talk about. I got the pleasure of becoming friends with a WW2 vet that was a medic on the front lines. He got 4 purple hearts for saving 4 lives and getting shot twice. All it takes is listening and respecting that they are not lame and hold so much amazing stories that TV can never tell right like they can. This might have been a rant but I got to learn so much!

                      I like the lawn mowing idea...but its february ha. Ill check out car detail prices.

                      Pantless, I sold all the car shit i had to sell haha. That was my income last winter and i made a lot haha.

                      As for the prostitution, those days are behind me. A man can only withstand crabs and bloody urine so many times.

                          When I had ZERO work in the winter I would go pull parts from the junk yard and sell to BMW members on here for a nice savings to them vs normal price. Thanks to all who bought my 24v swap pan package deal =)

                          Sold no joke like 8 of them, took me 1.5 hours to remove the oil pan, oil pick up, dip stick and throttle cable from the e34. Sold the package for the same price of the going rate of a single e34 pan =) I made money and saved a good chunk for my BMW friends ;)

                              I serve Chinese food at Panda Garden buffet

                              bahaha, not my dream job but its good for $10-15/hr on a good day of tips. I pull in around $9/hour on a shit day.
