The last time I drew any of these pictures is right before the summer of 1999. If you are wondering why some of the characters have really baggy pants, it's because I was really into JNCO's back then. This is all I can find, sorry none of it is any of completed stuff but like I said I usually gave it away. A lot of kids were in to DBZ then. For a while a lot of my paintings hung in their rooms. I am sure, they have all been thrown away by now.
Love them all!! If these are your 'rejects' your finished good ones must be next level!!

I give most of mine away too but, I do keep records of progress and final shots before I send them on their way so I remember what I've drawn.
I wish I could draw my own originals but I'm still having problems coming up with ideas for character designs. I can only copy what I've seen in shows...

I think I'm most proud of these three drawings.

Thanks for the compliments almostacrayon. But one of the reasons I stopped drawing was when I went to some of the art contests I met some people, in my opinion were amazing artists. They drew better than I ever could. But their style was not well received. I was always told I had a likable art style. I tried adapting my art, so I could improve but it wasn't working well on my own.

I was accepted into an Art Institute in Pittsburg but I went into the military to pay for it. I Liked the military too much and gave up on art. I don't think I was bad, but I know I wasn't good enough to make a living out of it.

I think all four of the pictures you posted are awesome. You have talent, keep at it. When you doodle, the style of your doodles is where to start for an art style.

Never heard of "Perfect Hair" is it an anime?

So I'm watching the beast that is Yu Yu Hakusho. I've actually never seen the series in its entirety.

I read the manga. It was good. I think I saw all of the anime too. But I know the whole story either way.

I've seen bits and pieces in the past and always enjoyed it, don't know why I've never sat down and watched the entire series until now.

I love the animation from the era, and finding myself watching more of the older anime these days. Of course Evangelion is still one of my most favorite series.

If you are into the older anime right now, I have to recommend one of my favorites. "Record of Lodoss War", the 13 episode OVA.

YES. "Steins Gate" is awesome. "N.H.K." is good as well. The creator of "Steins Gate" also made "Chaos Head" and "Robotic Notes". I liked both of them. "Chaos Head" was my least favorite. But they are all connected in some way.

Thanks mate, I do doodle sometimes too but mostly chibi characters rather than proper anime

As for Steins gate is prob one of the best animes I've seen. I love the whole time travel concept.

I agree Chaos head wasn't on par to Steins gate, I haven't watched Robotics notes, I know they are all on divergent time plains but I think thats all they have in common.

N.H.K was also good, the life of a neet/hikikomora. I haven't seen anything like it.

Is Blood + anything like Blood -C? That one had a good twist but left on a strange endpoint.

Anyone watch The world god only knows? I like the different take on the typical rom/com/high school setting.
