NASA, just got it last year. I will be happy if I can do 4 race weekends per year at this stage of my life, but damn it is fun!

SCCA National, WHRRI (local road course), NASA (because One Lap!) and I'm officially Chumpified.

Currently running Spec Miata and ITA; former autocross, ITC (510) and T2 (350Z); potentially dabbling in B-spec (Nissan) or STU/L (E30!) this year.

I race, build and setup cars. I sell stuff to make you go faster - data is awesome.

And I still act like I'm a freshman in college sometime, just for the hell of it.

I autoX fairly regularly (as much as the weather and lock of population allows up here), and do hold a SCCA solo safety steward liscense fro what it's worth.

    JP,
Yeah I hear you on the road racing expense. Thats why I only get to do it about once a year. As for racing bikes, that is where I started, back in 1992. Its not a cheap sport either. At least you have a shot at winning your entry fee back. I kinda got out of it when I was breaking frames every 6 months. I've been trying to get back into it, but going fast with internal combustion is just so much easier ;)

It appears you may have a serious need for one of these.

No license, but used to work at a speed shop and worked pit crew for the owner's car. Want to do time attack and autocross. I've been on Buttonwillow, Willow Springs, and T-Hill and loved WS the most. But what a fucking drive from SF.....

I'll dodge cones, ice, rocks, armcos and tire walls. Hopefully RA is next, but that requires a logbooked car, which is not cheap.

Don't really care if it takes a license or not, that's not what makes it fun.

I'm a cone dodger. My e30 325i is pretty well maxed out as far as prep for STX autoX.

I'm seriously considering earning my NASA license this year.

They started a Midwest region and spec e30 looks like a blast.

I don't have a lot of money though, so I'm hoping to do the driver training and then crew for someone.

    Because racecar!

No racing license here, but I do autox and do HPDEs.

Btw, just because you're in high school doesn't mean you are a bad driver ;)

NASA (current) SCCA (lapsed). SCCA sucks, they're so full of themselves and have so many layers of crap to go through. NASA is totally chill.

    edit: plus lemons / chump
