                  It's a 2012... think they have the flame risk under control now.

                  A friend just had it delivered a few months ago. It's got like 4k on the odometer now. It's insane.

                      Yeah I'm sure that was their top priority. I just had to make some negative comments so I could quell my jealousy...

                                      If the 458 had a manual with traditional gated shifter, and a less ugly dash ( see F355) and a less ugly rear end i'd take it over the E39. But if the E39 was an M5 with the ugly M5 sport seats replaced with regular E39 sport seats id take that every time.

                                                          a. didnt say perfection. I think you are superimposing your own issue over it.

                                                          b. Anyone who thinks an old BMW (not a classic like a 507 that is possibly even worth more) is in some way better for anything but hauling more people is special. Sure, everyone is entitled to an opinion but it doesn't make it right.
