Does kitty litter help stains that aren't fresh?

        Repaving? Or resealing?

Resealing is cheap. But will pull away if there is oil absorbed into the blacktop.

        Repaving. No worries at all.

Might want to find out. From how the driveway looks, it's still fine... That's why I asked.
No big ass cracks or potholes. No need to repave.

the bottom of the driveway has some cracks and shit.. i think thats why they want to repave.. i also think they want to widen it too.

Kitty litter/sawdust to take up the initial oiliness then purple power to try and work the stain out.

Yaherd there is this stuff you can apply and it will agitate and foam up with the oil. Then you can rinse it down with a water hose. I think its similar to the oil eating algae used in the BP oil spill just in a applicable form.

i know what you are talking about, its called something like mechanic's floor, we have it at lexus.

but your shit is pretty soaked in, i'd use a pressure washer

I have honestly used Cola to remove oil stains before. Get a couple of 2 liter bottles, add to oil stains. Use a bristle brush and gently massage into oil.. add more Cola. Wait 10 mins, spray away with water.

why try to clean it when the dirty parts are the best parts

I am a Crane Operator. Running old ass, leaky, POS cranes on new driveways/streets/sidewalks always leaves an oily mess, pissing off contractors.

Sprinkle on some Portland Cement and work it around with a broom. It absorbs the oil, and because it IS concrete, anything left behind looks like fresh concrete. Works amazingly well. Just FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, do not think you can take the easy way out, and hose it away after you're done. You must sweep it up.

I've had good luck with straight Castrol Super Clean and a scrub brush made for cleaning your deck. Pour on, scrub a bit, then hose away.
