I have honestly used Cola to remove oil stains before. Get a couple of 2 liter bottles, add to oil stains. Use a bristle brush and gently massage into oil.. add more Cola. Wait 10 mins, spray away with water.

Yaherd there is this stuff you can apply and it will agitate and foam up with the oil. Then you can rinse it down with a water hose. I think its similar to the oil eating algae used in the BP oil spill just in a applicable form.

Kitty litter/sawdust to take up the initial oiliness then purple power to try and work the stain out.

    Repaving? Or resealing?

Resealing is cheap. But will pull away if there is oil absorbed into the blacktop.

    Repaving. No worries at all.

Does kitty litter help stains that aren't fresh?
