My fathers done it since he was a teenage. got me into it. He has a charter boat and all that. He usually goes all year round.

Cool side note, he was on the history channel twice for Deep Sea Detectives. Thought that was cool :P

Muff and Padi. I've been certified for over 20 years. Take your card everywhere you go. You never know when the urge comes up to dive, of course i am taking scuba, dont need a card for muff.

im a NAUI masterdiver but im trying to get into commercial diving, anyone work offshore or inland? or is all recreational diving?

I know I already told ya, but I'm hoping in that passing along a job to you, the universe will reward me with someone passing along a job to me :) (Or, the usual will happen, and "No good deed will go unpunished").

I can give you a few contacts at Global Diving. Those guys work inland, and offshore. Even if they aren't hiring, I'm sure they would know someone who is.

Thanks M73 i really appreciate that. I know the business is really close, and is hard to get in anywhere if you dont know anyone on the inside, especially a greenhorn like me lol. Right now im wating for my kid to be born in april and once he's at "daycare" age i can start looking into work. i cant wait tho
