padi certified advanced diver for five or so years now. Leaving sunday morning for my third trip to mexico. Been to roatan and jamaica also. I couldn't dive last year at all because of a problem i had with my ear. I can't wait to be falling through that liquid sky next week.

Dove off the coast of egypt 2 years ago and loved it! I can't wait to go again, but I'm not really interested in diving in a lake of Colorado.

around here visability is a luxury.all we have here is the gulf of mexico A.k.A BLACKWATER lol but its still fun, lots of sunken boats out there. Diving in zero vis i think is just that much more exciting...."when things go bump in the dark, we bump back"

Pretty cool thread. I've been diving before and I was going to do my course 3-4 years ago but had a stomach flu and never had a chance since with university and work. I'm done uni in April so I'm planning to do it this summer.

My Dad has been a commercial diver since he was 17 and has been literally all over the world diving. Most of his work has been offshore on the oil rigs but he's done a wide range of it. Lots of great stories, adventures and good money as long as you don't have a family.

Andddd for anyone that enjoys diving, travelling or the show Departures check out Descending, it's with the same host and filmer (Scott and Andrew) that Departures had, as well as another host from NZ.

Departures was an amazing 3 series show as well, check them both out.
