^ I guess i have been spoiled by great bosses. It just sucks to be told by customers that i have provided them with the best service they have had at the restaurant, and then have my boss tell me i'm shit.
Who hates their job but needs the money?

Your boss gives you attitude, the things I work with literally shit on me. And my boss gives me attitude. And I'm on call 24/7.
Did I mention I get shit on?Comment

I do all the maintenance on a mid sized Dairy Farm. I fix all the Milk Production equipment, the heavy farm equipment, the tractors, loaders, diesel trucks, the owners entire extended family street cars/trucks. Also, I end up squeezing in the farming stuff when things need to get done. In the spring/Fall, I work 20+ hours a day, running balers, planting fields, and doing my regular day to day stuff.Comment

I already have a great financial aid package as well a small amount of loans. I really dislike debt, so for now im going to keep working.

no way. Ive had a few jobs in the past that i was sad to leave. My summer job (manager at a bike/rental shop) was fantastic! 9-6 M-F, $15/hr, I had 3 employees under me and we all worked great together, the owner let me run the show with almost no interference, tons of girls in the shop all day in bikins, oh yea and i never wore a shirt or shoes.

I can't imagine sacrificing studying and academic performance for a few extra bucks. Especially when the interest rate on Ed loans is low.Originally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.Comment

No, it is terrible, I make about 30% of what I used to make as a Service Advisor/Manager in the Los Angeles area before the economy tanked and I moved to somewhere more satisfying and along the lines of the lifestyle I wanted to live.
There are tradeoffs for everything, right now you chose to become educated so you would be able to have the life you want and the security of the future you desire, this Server gig is simply a means to an end to afford you your desires in the future, live it up, suck it up and love the fact that one day you'll look back on this shitty job and this crabby bitch as you paying your dues.
And you will actually value the work you put in to get there. And you will probably want to go back to this shitty place twenty years and thank her for the lessons you learned that you don't even know you are learning now.
But she will be dead from an MSG overdose.Comment
