found a few bits and pieces over the last few years but got pretty lucky today. Found these Williams Cleaner Type III bullets at the site of an old Union Army camp nearby. The Union Army used them to clean out the soot and lead from their musket barrels. My buddy found a CSA Virginia State button! Could have been a "kill souvenir".

I bought a metal detector a few years back and i've found some cool shit. Coins old and new, lead soldiers, busted watches but good for metal and my coolest find was a half penny from around 1750 in a vacant lot just off the palisades parkway in jersey .
