This guys been at it for a while, i'd hardly call it a fad..
Nakai-San of RWB is BRILLIANT.

AFAIK, Rauh-Welt basically sells and installs wide-body kits and huge wheels. That makes them more of a bodyshop than a real tuner in my book.
They don't mention cams, cranks, racing transaxles, engine management, throttle bodies, etc. Do they even build engines and prep race cars?
Don't get me wrong: I like the look of their cars. But a real tuner should make a car faster, not just look better.
He does design his own fiberglass, though.
What is a fad is everyone on the internet licking his balls.Comment

So who else was checking out prices of 963's after they first saw this guys work? I love what he's doing, not only the style but the passion that goes into it. Keeping something exclusive not for the sake of building hype but because the creator is a japanese guy building out of his house and doesn't want to change that is awesome.Comment

The only brilliant thing this guy has done is gotten a bunch of hip stance fags to think his cars are OMG amazing and then idolize him. You guys just wait tell the fad passes and you realize the quality of his work; he is just the Vlad of the Porsche world. Next you guys will be saying how much you hate his cars and how he ruined them.Comment

He builds "lookers" for sure.. not sure if he's trying to "tune" for any track events but I've not heard anything about his cars performance. Looks like his cars are a little too low w. not enough wheel gap for true all out performance.Comment

Not to sound racist, but the Japanese are known for the quality workmanship, much like the German.
And does that mean that American's are not?..well of course not, It's just associated with their cultures.
RWB makes some sexy cars. If I ever was to buy one many years down the line, I wouldn't want it to be too flashy though..with those big wings and all...

Yeah, that's why he has millionaire customers coming out of the woodwork to have a car built by RWB. They build ONE car per customer, and they aren't cheap. He's not doing Vlad-work on them. And I'm not some "hip stance fag".
Don't worry though, because as clearly stated in the video, Nakai-San still likes you, too.Right, and like I said in that earlier thread about E30s being a way-too-popular cult car, in a few years when the trend dies off, those publicity-built cars will be gone, and what will be left will be the real enthusiasts, who were there before, during, and will be there after. Nakai-San would have been retarded to turn down the money they probably threw at him to build those cars. RWB was building cars before the stance trend, and they'll still be building them when it goes away. Which it will, mark my words.Comment
