My fiance, good friend and I built a new tank the other day. 36" long x 16" deep x 12" high. They LOVE it. Everything was custom made to our specs by ourselves for the tank. Had glass cut to specs, cut/angled wood ourselves. The back board and ramps were 1"x2 1/2". For the back board planks after I cut everything to spec my fiance sanded the fronts down to get a "rocky" look with indentations. For the ramps I cut down the middle of them and made it so that the geckos can walk through the ramp to have full access to the whole plank and if they want to go up higher they can by using the ramp. Then my good friend bondo'd every crack and sanded it down to look like it's all 1 piece. Then it was painted with a texture paint to give it a sandy/desert look. It's awesome.
Before "pic of fiance" here(sorry for my mug):
Overall:
Hinged the lid to make everything so much easier over our old tank that the lid slid out which was so annoying.
Right side platforms in the tank (showing detail of what I had to do) with Ducky (equally both of ours) the suicidal gecko
Fiance's gecko named Pebbles
The other 3 geckos that were sleeping under the hut on the right side of the tank, they are as follows: Petrie (far left, my fiance's), Perry (middle, mine), Littlefoot (right side under Perry, mine)
Before you say clean out the bowl of mealworms, that's just calcium dusting, they were put in there 2 hours ago.
We love our geckos and got highly addicted to them. We have a breeder (Empire Reptiles) that is saving a specific morph (same one as Perry) except Male. Mine is a female. If you ever need anything go to these people, they are amazing.
So far they are all females, 2 of them (petrie and littlefoot) are too young to tell now, gotta wait a bit.
I hate modded emtree, I hate modded cawrz, I hate jdm, I hate swag, I hate stanceyolokids, I hate bags (on cars), I hate stuff that is slowz, I hate tires.

Cool setup, but I have to ask why do you have the under tank heater on the side. Leos are also nocturnal and heat lamps don't really work so well for them. They need a temperature gradient where one side has the under tank heater, and the other side is ambient air temp (cool). A moist hide is also a must.
I don't use it under the tank because I remember reading online that it can make the floor of the tank too hot for their feet, so I put it on the daytime side because that side needed the heat the most. The night time side stays perfect, and with that heating pad the daytime side stays perfect as well. They always have a moist hideout, actually have 2, the half rock in the middle against the glass and the one on the right. You're geckos eyes are awesome, I want a leopard gecko with the gargoyle gecko eyes.
Man those snakes posted are beautiful. Reminds me of my red tail boa I had for about 3 years. Got her at 1 month old, 18 inches long. Had to give her up because I was moving in with my dad and his GF and she hates snakes (BS) Anyways, here are some pics. Kinda wonder why she did not grow so much. Only about 2.5 feet and the diameter of a shot glass, maybe a hair fatter.
Would like to try some leopard geckos some time. A friend of mine had some for years.

If you have something other than just the glass on the bottom the under tank heater works really well. I have half in thick solid limestone for the bottom. The hottest the surface ever gets is about 90 degrees which is about perfect from what I'm told. Most of the time its about 87 or so. The two females that I have live in the same tank, one of them is almost always in the cool hide, the other is almost always in either the moist hide or the warm one. The male I have usually hides in the cool side during the day, but can almost always be found in the warm hide at night. Have you found www.geckoforums.net? Tons of info over there.

Kick ass! I used to have a 6' ball python but it died a while ago from a digestion problem. Took the damn thing in for surgery and it didn't pull through. Also had a russian tortoise for a few years before my brother put it outside while i was on vacation thinking it wouldn't run away....that was a great phone call "dude your turtle ran away".
Looking to get another tortoise in the near future. Any suggestion of a breeding in upstate ny or one willing to ship?
