    Triumph to return?

Apparently it's just speculation at this point, but given how well they've done with the Mini, I'd love to see what BMW could do combining the spirit of Triumph sports cars with modern (and actually reliable) engineering.

A modern TR6 done right would be sweet.

Maybe I would actually buy one....NEW. Just to put it away after enjoying it for a bit.

A modern Spitfire would be great. Front engine, RWD, cheap, and not a Miata. AND because its not a Miata I wouldn't be gay.

Are you talking about that one on eBay a couple of months ago? (I think the guy lived not far from where I grew up -- Kansas side of the KC area.) That Six was tits and -- assuming the guy wasn't exaggerating about what he'd done to the car -- worth every penny he was asking.

So reading the article, BMW will be making Triumph handbags and bathroom towels, not cars. Awesome.
