    Dishonest sellers - rant.

So I drove quite far today (about 45 minute drive each way) to pick some new used set of tires, Toyo T1-S in 205/55/15, for 280 CAD, great price (at least for us Canadians).

The seller said that they were used for 2 months and had over 85% tread left, and no camber wear, and no damages of any sort.

I meet up with the guy with my tread depth measure in one hand. I went on to inspect the tires - visually, they looked bald and with camber wear. I was choked.

I measured the tread anyway, and found that 2 had 2.5/32 and camber wear, 2 had approx. 3-3.5/32 and again, uneven wear. I also found obvious flat spots on the tires. WTF.

I was pissed and told him to fuck off and left.

I guess I should've suspected something.... when I called him to meet up and told him that before I buy, I will inspect the tires thoroughly - His response was - "oh these are summer tires so you can't measure the tread use a tread measure", and so I asked him how he got the 85%+ in his ad, he said that it was a "visual guesstimate."

Anyways, just a stupid rant, sorry for wasting your time.

Why can't people do business properly and with honesty?
