BUMP. Im actually trying to MEH HEE CO this upcoming weekend for a lil day trip on Saturday before finals week next week.

I want to take the E30.

Is it really that sketch? I just wanna get some tacos with the homies and fell all cool like driving into another country.

I would be taking the border into TJ from San Ysidro.

Yes it's sketch, I would never drive into Tijuana. Take the very last exit, park at the shopping center then walk over the boarder. Everything you need to see is right there, or you can pay a $5 flat rate to go to "El Centro" downtown and see more of the same trinkets for sale.

True fact, i have never been to Mexico.

mehhh. its not exactly the safest place anyway.
I don't even own this car anymore, but I'm too lazy to change the picture.

You're "supposed" to have a passport. I've been over dozens of times with a CA drivers license. My buddy lost his license in Mexico and they still let him across, (good thing he was black) assuming he was a citizen lol.

Im mexican & have been there a few times, it's fun but also very dangerous. I wouldn't go now though, lots of poverty and the cartels are fucking crazy.

Stay away from the mainland. If you want to have a good time, stay along Highway 1. And bring a few boards.

have you taken your e30 down there before?

Hmm, if tacos are your only aim, not worth it. The border has gone to shit in the last few years. Just roll your E30 on down to Roberto's, grab yourself a Rusio Burrito, and call it a day. You even get to order in Spanish, just like Mexico.

Dude, just do it. Drive down to Ensenada. Just an FYI if your car gets jacked or you get in accident down there. Your insurance won't cover it and you'll probably end up in a Mexican jail.
