    My phone needs protecting

So I ponied up and bought the new iPhone to replace my old one that has a cracked screen. I had replaced the screen twice, I drop it often.

My phones get abused and beat to shit and I expect them to take it!

So I've been looking into some protection for the new one. otterbox looks really promising, curious what my fellow e30 guys use?

What works well in the garage and can take a hit?

third that. I have an otterbox defender for my Evo, I abuse the hell out of my phone and I use a lot of harsh chemicals at work. The chemicals got absorbed into the rubber case after about a year and I called Otterbox and they sent me a new one no questions asked.

My friend has an otterbox on his iPhone, I say the chances that it breaks from dropping it from your lap is <1:1000000, because I swear I've seen him drop it more than a million times. Sometimes more than five times a day...

I'm using mine with just screen protectors on the front and back glass.
I think cases ruin the nice look and feel of it. And I hate rubber cases the most because of the bulk and the surface make it harder to get out of your pocket like it kinda sticks to fabric. I like to live life on the edge. If it breaks i'll just get a new one. I dropped this one twice so far and the glass is still flawless.

i have no protection on my phone from day one iPhone 1 the edge, it still works and i've dropped it in puddles when it was raining out, smashed it in a car door, dropped numerous times. the aluminum case is bent a little and the black plastic at the bottom doesn't stay on but the screen is perfect (besides from my diamonds scratching it here and there but that will happen to any screen)and still works perfect. or if you don't want to risk it get an otterbox

Also otterbox. its like getting insurance on the phone, without really getting shitty apple insurance. My buddy who works for a cable company dropped his phone while on a power line 30 ish feet in the air. otterbox saved it completely

I don't care about the case or backboard of the phone, just the front screen. At 80/each time no way ima risk it again.

                              Lol
