Dam I missed this one.
I assume the op still reads this and I would like to say that. We don't care so much about you. It is more the fact that anyone could have walked out onto the road. Your argument that it is a clear road and you could see if someone was going to walk on to the road is void because you nearly didn't spot the police officer.
No to mention if a dog cat or anything ran onto the road you would most likly be dead.
Edit: keeping an eye out for used S38 for swap in op location.
Oh and what he couldn't afford a decent paint job for the E30 but can get a E34 M5 WTF? Wonder if he knows what maintance cost will be on that even if you DIY it.sigpicComment

the kid is lying about the m5...anyone can google an m5 for sale....
also, if his parents do buy him the m5.......you have to learn your lessons one way or the other...this so happens to seem like it will end the hard way......
