The air pushes you down. No air, no gravity.

Gravity is simply a perceived acceleration field caused by the distortion of spacetime around a massive body.

You have been constantly accelerating from the moment you were born at 9.8 m/s^2, and because of that, you have been able to travel through time, as time is relative to velocity, which is a result of (absolute) acceleration, and the reason time distorts so perceptibly for you as you near a black hole, it is simply the increasing acceleration field that is distorting your time in your frame of reference with relation to other frames of reference.

Position, velocity, and time are non-absolute and therefore meaningless if not compared to anything else, but "spacetime velocity" and acceleration are absolute, and need no comparison.

I like this. Not what I would consider simple, but nothing ever is.

I remember the 9.8m/s^2 from school. Demonstrated by dropping a tennis ball and basketball at the same exact time, from the same height. Both hit at the same time regardless of mass.

Cool stuff. I really need to go back to school and quench my thirst for these topics. Any recommendation for starter classes? I'm more interested in learning than aiming for a degree.

Electrons would so score with protons if neutrons weren't such jerks.

Gravity is the forever pulling us in. When a star is formed, an explosion occurs blowing everything outward. The void left behind creates a vacuum and pulls everything back in. Gravity is everything traveling back to the ignition point.

Just pointing this out, they're seperate forces.

Gravity just exists because gods semen has pressurized the universe. We're really just fish swimming around in it as the planet is absorbing it into it's core, pushing us all down.

The closer you are to a planet or star, the more the flow of semen being absorbed by it, the more you're pushed down.

                              Simple!

(And what we call fish, are actually ultrafish to god)

I'm pretty sure God is the one who allows us to have Gravity.
