Breaking news and stories that really matter to Australians. From cost of living and politics, to weather and the environment - get all the latest updates.
All I could find with some quick searches but it's usually worse than that. They'll use footage of people in Japan drifting on quiet mountain roads and claim it's Australian roads in peak hour traffic etc.
Someone doing burnouts, or drifting on a street in the middle of no where is far less dangerous than the huge number of BAD drivers on our roads that never get any media attention. On a daily basis I get cut off, people failing to give way, douches driving 30-40km/h under the speed limit in the right lane(left lane is for slow fucks), people pulling into my lane with a completely unsafe gap and proceeding to drive well under the speed limit, douche bags tailgating the shit out of me when I'm doing the speedlimit etc. Somehow the "hoons" are the bad drivers.Last edited by OniKyan; 03-14-2012, 07:59 PM.M20B23 Euro 323i - The Legend Of Ron BurgundrotComment

This!! If you really have that hard of a time driving in rain you need to either get better tires or get off the road. I can and do drive on snowpack at 60mph with no issues at all.
And didn't all Grand Cherokees of that era have some type of 4wd/AWD?

few things in life are as fun as throwing out the back end of a well-balanced RWD car around a deserted corner on a rainy day.Comment

No, the Grand Cherokee laredo's were available 2wd.
Psh, I'm going to go out on a limb and say you don't even need it packed. Us wisconsinites can do 60 in the 6" dusting of fluff. I would find it hard to believe that you guys couldn't do it in 12" dusting.Comment

Dang, the concept of a non-4wd Jeep up here is very strange lol.
Yeah most likely, I just haven't tried that yet. I do love it when I go back downstate and people freak out over 2," I just cruise right on by at the speed limit. Although I will admit tire selection does play a significant role in that.Last edited by Nsquared97; 03-14-2012, 09:20 PM.

It's called a California special, I imagine because a 2wd Jeep is retarded.
Dude, people in Eugene freak the fuck out whenever we get the slightest bit of snow. We got an inch a week or so ago and on my drive to work over a twisty country hill I passed three cars spun out on the side of the road. I'm in my RWD E30 with fat summer tires and the only time I slid was when I tried to.Yeah most likely, I just haven't tried that yet. .....lol @ and here it is in Slow Motion
that reminded me of this -
They did a report on the bad weather and how slippery the roads where and there were alot of accidents on the news .. then at 0:21 they said "not everybody took the slipperiness seriously, even with the very troublesome road conditions" and that POS volvo slides by xD
PS. they did a report later with the guy in the volvo and he said he didn't even notice the news team..ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)Be Afraid Of The FutureComment
