So just spent the better part of 3 hours trying to fix a massive clusterf*ck because a hacker thought it would be cool to hack my google wallet and make 7 charges of $10 under "google voice"

cancel cc, order new one, file charge dispute, re-do google passwords and 2-step verification, re-do mobile devices passwords to google services, blah blah blah

I hate hackers, they are the biggest asshole trolls this side of the universe.

That is just ridiculous. that is like saying it's not a drug addict's fault that he is a junkie because it's so easy to get a fix. Everyone has morals and the option to make a concious decision between right and wrong.

couple of years ago i get up and open up my online banking only to fine my account was sucked dry. well, the wife and i kind of live check to check and both of ours where not in the bank. after the initial shock and panic we started investigating. we find out that some one hacked my ebay account and purchased a 1900 dollar computer. well, the bank gave us our money back almost immediatly which was cool but now i'm pissed. i got with ebay on the phone ( maybe that wasen't an adventure ) and paypal too. i track this mother fucker down, get his address in north jersey and go to the police here in wildwood. they contact the pd of the city where the computer was to be sent and they send a car out to the address where it was to be delivered. vacant appartment. i kind of think that the seller of the computer was in on it cause i tried repetedly to contact him but never got any replies.

just a heads up, be diligent about changing your passwords every couple of months or so. had i not checked my account i may not of caught it in time and bin screwed.

Lol internetz sarcasim is not so obvious. Chill out guys.

Unfortunatly in this current world even regular chainging of passwords dose not really protect you. All I can say is don't ever do banking/buy or anything involving money on a wireless network, only use a hard line. They are easy to intercept and collect information.

I would recommened that everyone buy a book like this Hacking and Penitration Testing this will teach you how people hack and get you. This will help you understand what is dangerous and the best ways to prevent hacking.
