I'm that guy who wears them in the summer. If it's below 80, I have a beanie.

            Dufi?

Beanies are played out. Every time I go to the skatepark 90% of the youths there have a wool cap placed ever so gently upon the crest of their skulls despite the 90 degree weather. Whenever they attempt anything that requires motion they fall off. People do more wool cap adjusting and fine tuning than skating.

OP, are you going to sell an accompanying shoelace belt? How about the buyers choice of black skinny jeans or blue jean cut-off shorts? You can top off the entire ensemble with a sparse, wiry pubic beard.

I laugh at everyone wearing a beanie here, besides having that pothead skater look, it's too fucking hot to wear that shit. If it's winter (Dec 20th - Dec 22nd) then you can get away with it, otherwise, take a walk.

You live in AZ, your comment holds no water here. Yesterday it was 28 degrees here, I can wear beanies till June.

actually, his comment of "I laugh at everyone wearing a beanie here [Arizona], besides having that pothead skater look, it's too fucking hot to wear that shit" holds all of its water in New York. Since he is referencing his own environment in the pronoun "here", you can't assume he is referencing your town.

Maybe if he said "it's too hot to wear those", with no specific pronoun referencing location, it would hold no water.

if I hear one more tasteless slob telling me that I can't enjoy a little style/grace because "that's what hipsters do" I'm going to come up with a new name for tasteless slobs and use it constantly until tasteless slobs get frustrated with all this pigeonholing

I've always rocked the tight beanie and never had trouble with them getting lose. But then again its always been a Mountain Hardwear Windstopper one.
                        Im now E30less.

I wear em mainly for the sole purpose of keeping warm when snowboarding or doing something outside in winter, I bic my head twice a week, so that goes into about mid-march, I don't wear them loose like that at all, if it doesnt cover my ears I consider it not to fit....

but I do like the style of some of those, and will definitely order one at some point (probably next winter)
