Not to be a troll but i've heard from tons of different websites and one very rich (Microsoft) friend that these cars are absolute piles of shit. They were thrown together as quickly as possible to meet homologation regulations. I wouldn't touch one with a 20ft pole unless you're one of those owners who just wants to brag about your collection and not drive it. (This is all hypothetical i realize, as none of us can afford it and it's fun to dream.)Comment

Because someone buying this car is thinking, "hmm, I wonder what the upkeep on this thing is? I know! It's now my new Daily!"Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

From what I can tell, the e30 M3 only has issues when it sits for long periods of time. I've had mine since Dec 10th and I've put nearly 5000 miles on it already. It gets good mileage, and hasn't given me any issues other than simple things the previous owner failed to address. (The guy liked to replace parts with used parts such as the in tank fuel pump, struts that were claimed to be new, but someone used an impact wrench on the upper nut and broke the thing off so it was welded back on. They did a good job of it, I didn't notice till someone else pointed it out.) The bad reputation the E30 M3 seems to have is from people who never drive the cars. A guy in town has had his for 12 years and put 140K miles on it. He said its never let him down and been perfectly reliable. The car now has 220K+ miles on it and runs great.
The CLK-GTR is cool, but as the previously posted video shows, they tend to fly. Still, I'd give one a go on a track. Around town, not so much since one can't see what is behind it.
