What was your April fools joke?

I've had an e30 I've been building for my gf to drive for awhile now, and since she pulled an April fools joke on me (sent me a pic of her hair super short saying she cut it all off) I decided to get her back.

I looked on YouTube for a vid of a running black e30 with a black valve cover and intake like the motor in building for her car. I sent her the video saying that I had "done a little work on the car today" she fell for it and asked if I had driven it yet. Knowing it would make her mad I said "yea all around the block" needless to say she was really upset but then I hit her with the April fools.

What jokes have u guys pulled or have gotten pulled on you today?

I gave my gf one of those fake scratch & win tickets (I know its lame) but here reaction was price less, jumping up and down and she even called her mother saying that she won 100000 haha. I guess she forgot its the 1st of april

took my paintball gun, which looks like a AR, and snuck up on my mother that was asleep at 4am.

i started screaming, she came down stairs and i dry fired it on full auto yelling "take that mother fucker"

she screamed and hid behind the counter.

I was gonna do almost the exact same thing, but my GFs parents are on facebook, so i would probably be killed tomorrow if I followed through.

This is probably the best April fools prank I've laid witness to, or even heard of for that matter.

Two years ago a coworker of mine was expecting a baby with his wife right around April 1st. After work he goes into the break room and sees a fuckton of missed calls, texts, and voicemails from his wife and various family members. They're all telling him that his wife is in labor and she going to the hospital. So he freaks the hell out and calls her back and she tells him that she already had the baby. Obviously he's pretty upset and asks her why she didn't call the work line, to which she replied that she did and Eric (another coworker) said he work tell him. He then sprints out of the store, hops in his car, and starts booking it to the hospital. About half way there she calls him back to say "April fools."

I missed a day of work yesterday. I'm in high school and haven't had the job long. I put out on twitter that I had missed work and they decided to let me go, fire me. After a few texts and responses I said April fools. Worked out pretty well.
