My dad mentioned this when we saw a very nice looking mid 70's targa on the way home tonight. Such a beautiful car, and I have almost no doubt he was out for a drive in Ferdinand's memory.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

He was 76. Probably heart failure.

                      76 isn't that old anymore.

With advances in modern science, and his high level of income, no reason to think he couldn't live to 245. Hell maybe 300.

                        /End joking

While his body may be gone, that mans's memory will live for a long long time.

It's old enough to assume natural causes. If he was assassinated, they would have mentioned it.

On a side note, as a long time Porsche fanatic, going to the museum in Stuttgart a few years ago was an incredible experience.

I'm not saying assassinated. If that was the case we'd know. That's big. Possible suicide? We'll probably find out after he is interred. Usually they will say, "of natural causes." Instead of being all mysterious about it.

That's the conclusion we came to at the shop.
