I have one, they're awesome. If you don't need the optical drive or processing power get one by all means. Pro's are amazingly fatter than airs. All macbook pro owners are like "it's only like a quarter of an inch thicker!" but that's at the fattest part, and when you're holding/using it, you only really feel the paper thin edge closest to the front. I've had a unibody pro, late model air (unibody), older black macbook, and now the past gen fully upgraded air, and my current one is definitely my favorite. The pro is noticeably faster...but it's not enough to win me over.
