My brother owns a b25, never got to test that out against the Tc. It feels SO MUCH faster than my b27. Granted it is.

    Scion TC 0-60 - 7.4 seconds
    1/4 mile - 15.6

    a stock 325is can do a 15 flat and a 6.5 0-60 easily.

in the end it's still a cheaper toyota that was destined for the scrap heap the minute it rolled off the assembly line. these cars are not made to last or be loved 30 years from now - they're appliances, meant to be used up in 10 years and thrown away.
Depends on what model e30, I have only owned a ETA. I am sure the b25 could put up a better fight. I could pull on him till 3rd then he slowly walked me on the top end. Wished I owned a b25 so I could have tested it out. ALSO that is stock figures from 20+ years ago. They don't apply to a car that has been doing daily grunt work for all that time. HP #s are lost as you well know. I am sure I am not making more than 100hp anymore with that one. Still gets up and goes super well, but not as good as a rebuilt b27.

So I can pull a Tc from dead to 60ish then I lose when I hit 4th. I know with a chip, proper CAI and a taller diff I could leave him all day. But it does not matter anymore, he sold the M3 and I sold the ETA.

And I agree with the last statement, worked on my buddies before he sold it for the e46 M3. 4 years old and everything was rusted solid and most of all the bushings were toast.

I love how that guy didn't even catch another members sarcasm, and then quoted the sarcastic quote to try and back himself up lol.
    Quite funny

Its not like a civic or a corrolla its the shortened camry, now 1 gen old camry.

Thats it and thats all nothing complicated about it. it is like the camry engined chipped for some more power. It uses really cheap interiors like all plastic door cards.

i had a tc prior to my e30. it wasnt a bad car but the crowd surrounding the owners left me with a bad taste in my mouth. first it was the boy racers who tried to think it was a sports car because TRD at one point were going to offer a factory installed supercharger (major delays and issues caused Toyota to not offer it at all after one year). There were constant arguments on whether a TC was a sporty or not sporty car. i just thought it was always a cheaper and better alternative than a civic coupe or base RSX.

Then secondly i started to notice more and more girls were driving tc's. teenage and college girls. it was kinda unmanly to drive the car after ownership around the 3rd and 4th year. i had started to realize i had grown tired of the tc. i started to stop modding it and avoiding the scene altogether. but the first and 2nd year of ownership was fun. i cant deny it. its fun to have a car in the first 2 years of a brand new model. it was fresh. met a lot of different people that i still know and talk to today. also learned a great deal about the aftermarket community and how products and services start to build up for a certain car.

Wasn't it GRM that did an article a while back where they had an older Porsche, Jag (from the 50's or 60's) and autocrossed against a Honda Odyssey - and the minivan spanked the "classic sports cars" hard.. Damn people haulers.
