OP, good luck with whatever your doing. If you wanna keep your tint, do what Slammin said. Same goes for tailights too. Whatever you
"upgrade" (:giggle:) with tint, make sure you keep your stockers so you can revert if need be.

Every time i've been stopped for tint (pre-e30), I tell them the truth.

"I did it myself."

2 out of 2 times, we discussed the fact that I'm just going to re-do it again if they make me remove it. Both times, the let me go with a warning.

The key is to talk to Police like anyone else, be friendly and they won't want to butt rape you.

Doing illegal things that many motorists and car owners do is not what's going to get your balls busted, it's whining when you get caught for doing something that is defined as illegal according to the law makers and enforcers and the pre determined punishment is dolled out.
