I have a love/hate relationship with my job... but then I got a 50% raise, and work modified bankers hours most of the time, so I really can't fuss too much.

Chik-Fil-A has the best fucking service. I'm not a big fan of their food but if I go with friends, always badass service.

Sure, it's minimum wage, but the people there are fantastic, the leaders work with you and hours are very flexible, and the manager is generally a cool guy. We became instant buds and we see each other on weekends for paintball with his kid (who's my age and works with me). Only thing is that since its Chick-Fil-A, business is always there, so there's almost no rest the 8 hours you work. Job security :-D

I definitely can relate to all you guys who have crap jobs though. I had a Mechanical Engineering internship that paid me like a bau5; $12 an hour, but the boss was horrible, and the leadership sucked. It's no wonder the company went down the tube... :|
At least when my boss was out of a job too, he kinda chilled out.. But by then it was to late..

Yeah I can't complain about my job too much. I can work anywhere I get internet (so tethering with my phone means anywhere I get cell service). Pay is great, hours are whatever I want, whenever I want. Best of all, my job is writing about things automotive related.

And, this Monday I have an interview to be a lab assistant to a researcher at the local university. I'll be getting paid to go hiking in some of our most beautiful mountains, collect fish and bugs, then put them in aquariums and study them. Not only my dream job, but good experience for my degree.

Do what you love, and the money will come!

my job isn't too bad i just hate how im busting my ass for $9 an hour detailing a car for a salesmen who will get a nice wealthy commission on the car. i don't get any commission but all my detailing jobs are fantastic.
then they rush me because there selling cars too fast, and they expect them to be flawless withing 30 mins, not to mention i fill them with gas in that time at a gas station 3 miles away on napas busiest street.

being a computer tech in retail is not the business. dealing with annoying people and having to rip people off for a living is not cool, plus i get shitty pay. i am in the process of getting a regular IT job for a company so hanging in there i guess. i cannot wait for the day where i hand in my 2 week notice its probably going something like this.

I used to love my job. I hate my new boss. He is a two-faced unethical bastard that acts buddy-buddy with you one minute then talks crap behind your back to other workers the next minute. Being in his very presence puts you into a negative mood. The reason he got promoted to as high as he is is because of ass-kissing and dick-sucking.
