Funny this thread bumped up today... This is how my son lined up some of his cars this morning. Just out of picture is lightning McQueen at the front of all his "race cars."

I used to have one if these when I was a kid. Haven't ever been able to find another one, its hot wheels 9726.

Here are a few of mine. The larger one are hot wheels size but matchbox from '81 (M1) and '85 (Alpina baur 323i). My favorite is the herpa DTM 3 piece 1:87 with BBS RG platinum weaves and more detail than most 1:43. Check out the dash storage partitions, tie rod boots, exhaust hanger brackets, rubber tires with tread and even the tail lights are a different clear plastic. pretty intense for a micro.





I have smaller M3s by Road Warriors but they are jacked up like 4x4s. Nice to see they got the engine in the right spot for the M1, wing is not so good.

Edit; Jason, what paint do you use?

I just use Dupli Color. Then clear them with Testors clear top coat.

Tee hee, we (the GF and I) got a cart and emptied the Wal-Mart display into it while we looked for the red e92.

yea being almost upside down in a hot wheels toy bin gets you some funny looks. lol i didnt even think about going to target. thats next on the list!!

all across the nation BMW enthusiasts are scouring toy departments for hot wheels. anyone try toys 'r' us?

In Florida, Publix grocery stores. You have to find where the Hot Wheels rack is. No two stores have the same location. I once found a rack in the cereal aisle. WTF? Another in the greeting card section. Good hunting.

I scored 5 white 2002s yesterday at Publix.

Im going to toy r us after work, then target to finish off my mopar, gm, and ford collections. I really want the orange 2002 and datsun 510s. I think theres three colors for the 510s.

Once I get a good amount Ill show it off LOL.
