Title help?

I am looking at a local E28 that the owner claims to have lost the title. How hard is it to get a title for a car? Has anyone on here gotten one for a title-less car?

Created a falsified bill of sale and have the car towed. When the authorities ask, tell them that it's yours and that he doesn't have a title or proof of ownership. Then go to the secretary of state and apply for a lost title.

Got relatives in Vermont. I hear its easy for them to get titles.

Depends on the state. I've bought more title-less cars than I care to admit but I always call the dmv with the vin# and confirm the guy that's selling it to me actually is the owner, the fill out a form and pay $6 and wait a couple of weeks.
Again, it vaires by state but i'd think it would be wise to call your dmv and find out how to prozeeed.

done this many time go to the dmv tell then you want to form to sell your car without the tittle have the owner sign it and his info and just out your info and take it back to the dmv make sure to get a bill of sale from the owner
