    Official juicing thread

Searched and did not find anything.

So here it goes, what are some of your combos of viggies/fruits to make a healthy juice? I know we have the vegan thread so this is also a very good habit to add with working out and maintaining a plentiful diet.
List what you use and how much etc. Also it is more expensive than buying store bought juice. But you gain so much more for your body making it fresh and unpasteurized.

Also list up what juicer you use, I use an: Acme Supreme Juicerator

    Currently my favorites are:

    2 Apples
    2 Carrots
    1 Orange
    1/2 Lemon
    Handful of spinach

    Second:

    3 Carrots
    2 Tomatos
    1 Orange
Lots of spinach or greens of sorts.

I know a few of my friends that add beans in for protein.

I've got a Jack Lalanne Power Juicer, I have on average 6 a week. I do the same stuff as above, I also do some Ginger, Smoked Tabasco, and Celery in most of mine. I'll have to find some of the recipes I used to do regularly before.

With quitting smoking the greens, and not drinking anymore and eating salads instead of burgers plus this, it's crazy how much better I feel nowadays. I just need to axe the daily coffee and I'll be set.

Great thread! I will have to try some of these recipes and post my own. I'm trying to find a good pomegranate juice recipe.

How do you like it? I was thinking of picking up one of the 8005 models.
Mine leaves the pulp dry, so I know I am getting all the juice out. But I was thinking of trying to get more pulp in it, like a liquidized form of everything you would eat.

I do it for breakfast to start the day, and two glasses with dinner. I have found it cuts down on how hungry I am, also boosts my energy. I don't think I will ever remove meat from my diet, but I have been sober for about 6 years now. And never thought of tabasco, please post up some of your recipes. I am a huge fan of heat...I have a few habaneros in the fridge. I will have to figure out a recipe to make them work.

I juice with an omega too. Awesome because you can do homemade pasta and nut butters too.

Beets, carrots, apples, lots of spinach, a little lemon and the secret ingredient, avocado. Ginger for extra kick too.

This sounds fun, and healthy. and yummy.

I am going to have to try.

Also, does the juicer matter? I am pretty sure I have one in my house, but it is probabaly sort of old.
