Not sure what you keep insinuating by saying it's a sad day for football? What exactly is wrong with the way we won it? By outplaying every team we've beaten regardless of what the talking heads say? Because we counter attacked at extremely crucial moments and made every possession count? We deserved that win more than bayern, real madrid and barcelona. Screw off already with this sad day for football garbage. Your teams coach quit because he's a cry baby. You guys lost your league and your leagues cup and the champions league.

The only thing we didn't manage to win this year was our league. Shit happened in the beginning of the season that if it wouldn't have I think we would have taken home the league trophy as well.

It was ridiculous. 90mins of misery was worth those 3mins of pure ecstasy. Amazing!

Yeah, it would have been very interesting. Next season should be even better! Can't wait! Also don't forget the Carling Cup ;)

lololol your letting me ruin your day. let me have my opinion. And yes by insulting your making your point across. Di matteo was asked, the football/tactics you used, are you proud of it that you won it like this? He just walked away, my point exactly. Let me have my opinion. SAD DAY for football. But Regardless GL to everyone next season!

I guess the word 'outplay' is subjective. I thought Bayern had the lion's share of the chances and depending on the source, Bayern outshot Chelsea 43(7)-7(3) or 24(7)-6(3). They had 20 corners to Chelsea's 1.

Would y'all still be saying 'outplay' and 'deserve' if the score was the other way around?

Doesn't matter how many shots were taken, how many corners wer had, what matters is when the chances were there, who capitalized? If BM was the better team and outplayed Chelsea, why didn't they win? B/C they couldn't score when given the chance. Chelsea had very few chances beindg as defensive as they were. When the chance came, they scored. You need a little luck to win these things. They are a crapshoot. Just because Barca didn't win, doesn't mean it's a sad day for footbal. This is a cup that Chelsea has never won. Now they have it. For fans like me, fans of the game, it was a great match. Saying that a team that didn't win their division doesn't deserve to win Champion's league is like saying everton ort bolton don't deserve the FA cup. Just because you weren't the best team in your division doesn't mean you weren't in the best form to win a different league. That's why the top 4 go to UEFA, b/c they are all good enough to win. Barca got beat man. Fair and squarer. I wasn't pissed and crying when they beat Chelsea in the QF a couple years ago. They deserved it. That's how it goes. Barca will spend to win next season, and they will do well. So will Chelsea. That's what big teams do. You didn't ruin my celebration, I was drunk when I posted yesterday and didn't wake up til 2pm today. till happy, still a bit drunk.

If you say shot and corner quantity - when there is that big of a difference - don't matter, we'll just agree to disagree here. And that's cool.

Chelsea had a helluva year. And I really was unbiased coming into this game. But to say that Chelsea neutralized certain players on Bayern, and that was the reason they won, well it's just silly. The same thing happened the other direction. I love Lampard, but this was not his best game - well done, Bayern. Where was Mata? As effective as Drogba was, he gave the ball up the majority of the time, just as much as Torres would have.

To say Chelsea did what they had to in order to win is one thing. To say it was a great match is another. It wasn't.

Oh it makes for a horrible game, but if that's what you need to do to win, why not?

Man u is going to shit on them, Madrid are in such poor form right now and United is only getting better. Plus casillas is still out, and he is a big part of the Madrid team.

Its going to be a good game either way, but I anticipate a win for United over both legs.

Robin Van Persie will probably make the difference, still cant figure out why the fck arsenal sold him to United.

i agree that casillas is a big cog that makes the team run but honestley diego lopez is a top notch keeper, i would trust him on my team, it seems that madrid have been getting in form at the right time ( ronaldos hat trick a few days ago)

i am a madrid fan tho so i am bias but i have no idea who will take it
