A few weeks ago I had the chance to snatch a motor and trans from a 98 540 for $1800. The guy now realizes there's no chance he's getting that much for just an engine.
So now I got him down to $1000 for a complete side swiped car.
-Borla exhaust
-6 speed new clutch
-manual seats
Maybe I can part it out and make some money back. But with the whole caer I can aim at keeping it obdII and have the front half of the driveshaft ready to cut and weld.
I'd really like to swap this in my vert and then be set. I plan on using the iS as a mock up and then spending a week transplanting everything over.
Deal or no deal?
The vert is a 92 318 calypso with a decent top and an m20 swap. it gets there and back. I no longer like the slow m20. I take that back. I love it. But i'd love a v8 more!
