3D printers are kind of old news. We had a company come and demonstrate one to use in high school back in 2002 or so. I'm waiting for them to become affordable so that your average consumer can buy one. Probably own one with the next 10 years I'd bet.

You haven't looked hard enough these guys have been around for a while. I am thinking of buying one my self.

I'm taking about non-extrusion type machines and getting the price down to a few hundred bucks like a typical laser printer is. ^^^That thing is still $2000, which is hardly affordable.

I understand. I though 2k is a reasonable price for something like this.

it's just for show, my company has one. shit breaks super easy if you put any kinda torque on it. More of a sales tool or probably could make molds for casting from it too.

Look up the guys at XLAForm. Infiltrate with their stuff and it will be alot better.
