CNC guitar parts, is it a winner?

I sent this in to Mastercam for their "Innovator of the Future" design competition. The teamed up with Taylor guitars and required the saddle and bridge to be cnc machined ready to go on a guitar. The Bridge is made of ebony and the saddle is cocobolo (a fun word to type). Tell me what you guys think. This was done on a techno routing table.

Both pieces of wood had no sanding and where polished after machining.

I'm not a particular fan of the color, but overall it's great work!

so the curvature of the bridge, that is for intonation but how do you get it perfect without any adjustability? i know its like that on all acoustics but i never understood it.

I'm guessing the curve is no biggie, you just tune the strings anyway

I originally wanted to do the saddle in bone, but it hard to find bone in large enough stock.

The curvature of the saddle sets the intonation of the strings. Basically the overall string length. Normally they are straight with notches filed into it to get the right intonation.

If its going on a taylor guitar. im not sure if i can see it.
Its definitely nice, but im just not sure about the shape on that kind of a guitar.
                  Thats just my opinion.
But great job and good choice of wood. Its a nice combo!
I don't even own this car anymore, but I'm too lazy to change the picture.
