My father in law owns a liquor store in CT and he can get me both proofs of Everclear (name brand.) The stuff is not for sale in Massachusetts. He says this is common too with wines. He sells some wines across the border to Massholes who can't get it at the local packie or wine shop.

This is what happens when I try to contribute something mature to a thread. He was basically asking for info on his 20% abv vodka, and I was saying that I've never seen or heard of that. The first car I ever rode in was an e30

Lawl at all you Yankees.
Lawl at anything under 190 proof.
Lawl at anything that you can get at a store.
Lets just say, you have not drank, until you've drank in Franklin County Va.
We got stuff you have to dilute, not for the law, it'll kill you if you don't pour some water in it.1974.5 Jensen Healey : 2003 330i/5

Ohio you can't buy anything over 20% in a grocery store/C-Store. For the good stuff you'll need to go to a liquor store. ALOT of states are like this. Ohio does suck, let me tell you I haven't missed it one day since moving to Virginia.
Atleast you're not in PA where you have to go to a state owned store to buy a case of beer. Up there, you can't get anything over 12 bottles without going to a state store.
Also Michigan pissed me off even more with the whole bottle deposit rule. That was some BS right there.
Slammin' is right about the shine, however. My Ex-GF used to get me Mason jars of "corn liquor" from her older brother's friend who had three first names. It cost me like 5 bucks, lasted forever, and also helped when I needed to strip rust off of my chrome bumper.
Sorry for your loss, Ohio blows.
